This has got to be the worst show I’ve ever done as a trader and I’ve been doing events for over 12 years and seen my fair share. Paid for a table in a craft tent and ended up being next to a Tómbola stall. All day there were queues in front of my stall for the tómbola, with customers even using my props as a stand to find their loose change. People couldn’t even see my stall. When I complaint about this, I was told I should have told the stall next to me about it. In the first place, it’s NOT my job to do so. I’ve paid for a stall and expect access and a visible stall all day. I wasn’t about to go tell a tómbola stall raising money for Down syndrome kids that their customers were in my way. No one came round to check on the stalls despite them claiming to have done so. The craft tent was packed to the brim with hardly any space between the stalls, it feels like they were trying to squeeze in as many as they could. These organisers are forgetting we traders know one another, and we do talk and it’s pretty disgusting that a tómbola stall was even in the craft tent to start with. Without all of us contributing, you won’t even have a show to run. I hope this serves as a warning to anyone who intends to get a stall here - DON’T!

Visited the country fair May 1st. Easy to book online ticket, well sign posted & we'll organised going in. Fair selection of trade stands, food/drink outlets & activities for all ages.
Leaving was horrendous, took a full hour to get out of the field, would put me off future attendance.

Queued for 40 minutes at the gate then queued 1 hour and 20 minutes for an overpriced burger!
The catering was nowhere near adequate for the number of guests and was extortionate overpriced! Paid 2.50 for a small cup of instant coffee.
The entertainment was good on the whole but the children's rides were also under represented. Queued 1 hour 40 minutes for the slide.
Unfortunately most of the day was spent queuing!!

Go in the morning, not the afternoon, we arrived at 1.50 and the dog grand national was under way. In the morning there had been dog shows and gymkhana but nothing we could find on immediately after the national.
Staff not well informed as to where events taking place.
Paid £24 for 2 adults + student, stayed 40 minutes, very poor value. Beautiful setting.
Definitely recommend getting there earlier in the day.
